Welcome to championwheel.com! Our passion here is our cars, and we
aim to share that passion with as many people as we can. That’s
why we strive to bring you the best custom rims available. Whether
you’re looking for something stylish or for a lightweight, high
performance set of rims, we have what you are looking for. We even
have performance upgrades for your vehicle, such as spoilers, carbon
fiber hoods, nitrous oxide kits, and more. And of course, if you are
going to put all that money into your ride, you will want to protect
it. We have you covered there as well, with alarm systems, remote
start, and Bluetooth capabilities for your car.
A great set of custom rims can make an otherwise unremarkable car
really stand out. The trick is, of course, finding ones that make
your ride stand out in a flattering manner. Everyone has seen the
car with the wheels that just don’t fit with it. You shake your
head as you pass, wondering what the owner is thinking.
Our goal is to help our customers avoid that mistake. We understand
that a seventies Caddie takes a completely different set of wheels
than a 2009 STI. It does not take a genius to see that, yet you can
find a Caddie with the wrong wheels without looking far. We carry
a full stock of all types of wheels, from small wheels for compacts,
up to truck or SUV wheels, so no matter what kind of ride you are
sporting, you can find custom rims to fit its style.
Some rims are made for style, and others are made for performance.
The most notable examples of the latter category are magnesium alloy
wheels. Magnesium alloy wheels are extremely light, which makes them
the idealized standard for a strong wheel that can perform at a high
level yet comes in at a low weight. They are not without drawbacks
however. Magnesium itself is a highly volatile metal; it burns in
excess of 2000 degrees Fahrenheit.
That in itself isn’t that big of an issue, many materials have
an extremely hot burn. What makes magnesium dangerous is that it combusts
in the air, without need of an accelerant or starter. Magnesium alloy
wheels are covered in a surface coating to keep this from occurring,
but this is not a foolproof safety precaution. In a crash, it’s
very easy to break through the coating, and thus set fire to your
vehicle. Forget about the tires, magnesium burns hot enough to melt
your ceramic brake pads, and burn holes in asphalt.
Magnesium alloy wheels are illegal in some areas, so before you set
your heart on a set of these custom rims, make sure you are allowed
to put them on a street car where you live. If you’re looking
for rims that are exotic yet not illegal, you may want to consider
new LED custom rims. These rims are hooked up to a computer inside
your car which controls the display. The computer can display nearly
any image you can come up with. It can also normalize the image on
the spinning wheels so that even though the wheel turns, the image
stays stationary. The effect is quite dramatic when seen in action.Thank
you for visiting us, we hope you enjoy your time here.
